The delayed monk

This is my journal. This is where I write what I'm feeling, events of my life, and where I can vent about things that upset me. If you read this, do so knowing that you're doing it by your own choice.. If you take offense, it's your own dang fault for reading it. Don't like it? Start your own journal, and write about it. It's refreshing.

Save the homeland!

Ok well, I'm tired.. so I'm not going to write a ton.

I didn't do a whole heck of a lot today. I basically just stayed around the house, ate lunch with Jeremy, Jenn, and Susanne... went with mom to Billie's, and then I went shopping.

Tonight, I went to Jeremy's and hung out for a long time, we had Taco Bell for dinner, and then Jenn and Suz joined us to go see The Village. It was a pretty good movie, but I knew the twist at the end before it happened, and that kind of stunk. But, oh well.. sometimes that just happens.

I'd recommend it though. I think, had I not known the ending, I would have been pretty tense.

Anyways, I got into an argument with mom today, and that kind of sucks. I told her I was in a bad mood today, but I think she was too. We got into it over politics, which is frustrating. She knows I don't care at all about politics, and she cares a lot, and she finally just blew up at me that I don't have an opinion. I can see her side, but I think she went about it all the wrong way. Mom's easily offended, and she thought that my apathy to the whole subject meant that I didn't care about something she was passionate about.

I guess we all have our moments. It just sucks when we fight, because we're normally the one that we each go to when we fight with everyone else. It sucks when you're mad at your sanctuary.

Though, I'm tired now.. I'm bummed because I'm not going to go hang out with Ash on Thursday. I was REALLY looking forward to going to the cookout with her, but the lady I'm supposed to meet from Pendergraphics had the meeting moved up to this Thursday, so I think I'm gonna talk Ben into going to Tahlequah with me to see some people.

Speaking of which, Ben comes home either tomorrow or the next day, I don't remember, but I'm stoked.

So, I'm out for the night, peace all.
