The delayed monk

This is my journal. This is where I write what I'm feeling, events of my life, and where I can vent about things that upset me. If you read this, do so knowing that you're doing it by your own choice.. If you take offense, it's your own dang fault for reading it. Don't like it? Start your own journal, and write about it. It's refreshing.

I'm gonna need a pitcher of gravy...

Well, today I didn't really do a whole heck of a lot. I woke up around 12, played Xbox by myself for the better part of the day.. and that was about it.

This evening, I went into town and met the family and Adam's friend Joseph for dinner, which was alright. Billie was there too (my great grandma) and as much as I love her.. I really don't like going out to eat with her that much anymore. She can love a place one day, and then the next... she can hate it. I mean, she's just getting old, and kind of crotchity... I guess it happens to everyone. Ah well..

After that, we went home and Susanne came out, and Adam, Mojo, Suz, and I played Xbox for quite a while. It was a lot of fun. We all really are into Red Dead Revolver right now, and it's fun, because we're all pretty good. It means a lot that Susanne plays with us, and actually acts like she enjoys us. Not many 20 year old girls would play videogames with a nerd, and his little brother.

My eye bruised up a bit from the piercing, but it's starting to go down.. The new tattoo's still pretty raw, but that's to be expected.

Honestly, I just kind of felt lazy today. Though, I really didn't mind.

I'm a little nervous about the school year starting, because I think I'm going to change my major.. and I really am not looking forward to seeing how that affects my plans.

Though, I'm going to try and keep my cool, and remain as laid back as possible... Because, as the sunscreen speech says:

"Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The
most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with
their lives. Some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don't."

So... I'm good.

Hope everyone is having an awesome weekend. I love those of you that I know.

Alex
